Congratulations to the 2014 Fantasy Golf Champion Rodger Hendricks of Bonita Springs, Florida!

The 2013 GOLFZING Fantasy Golf Season ended with the culmination of the OHL Classic at Mayakoba on Sunday, November 17, 2013. Rodger Hendricks was named the 2013 GOLFZING Fantasy Golf Tour Champion with over $59 million in Tour Points earned. This was his 3rd year playing and he previously finished 259th in 2011 and 36th in the 2012 season. Mr. Hendricks wins a $2,000 Golf Getaway Vacation, and will be traveling to Pebble Beach, California with his wife.

For the third year in a row, GOLFZING Fantasy Golf finishes its year strong with over 4,000 participants and over $50,000 worth of prizes and giveaways.

Launched in 2010, GOLFZING Fantasy Golf is a feature of the GOLFZING.com website that allows members to create and manage fantasy golf teams and play against other GOLFZING members. Each week, participants pick seven professional players, and earn money for every player that makes the cut that week. Weekly prizes are awarded to the top three finishers each week, along with four quarterly prizes and one grand prize champion. Participants also earn 100 ZINGPOINTS! just for playing each week.

Over 4,000 participants took part in the 2013 Fantasy Golf Season in 42 individual events. 294 rounds of golf were awarded to weekly prize winners; $2,800 in gift cards were awarded to quarterly prize winners; four drivers were presented to major tournament champions; and nearly 5 million ZINGPOINTS! were distributed to members throughout the season.

Preparations are already being made for the 2014 GOLFZING Fantasy Golf Season. With the launch of the new GOLFZING Groups, members can create their own groups at www.golfzing.com/groups and play fantasy golf with friends while still participating in the 2014 prize pool. The first event starts on January 2 with the Hyundai Tournament of Champions.
