The Terms and Condition of Use (“Terms”) together with this Privacy Policy and any additional terms specific to individual Services forms your agreement with us and any terms not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meaning set forth in those documents.  All capitalized terms not otherwise defined herein shall have the meaning ascribed to such terms in the Terms.

What This Policy Covers.
The Golfzing website (the “Site”) is owned and operated by American Golf Corporation (Referred to as "AGC").  AGC respects the privacy rights of visitors to the AGC website. We have created this Privacy Policy to advise our visitors of the types of personal and technical information that is or may be collected on this Site and the policies and practices that AGC follows with respect to the use and dissemination of such information. This Privacy Policy governs this Site operated under the URL This policy does not cover any third party websites, including any third party websites that may, from time to time, be linked to this Site or used to host specific pages on this Site. We do not monitor or make any representation with respect to the practices of these third party websites. If you have any questions regarding the information gathering or dissemination activities of other websites, you should consult the privacy policies contained on those websites.

What Information We Collect
This Site collects personal information from you that you voluntarily provide including, but not limited to, whenever you register, create a profile or account, make a request for information over the Site, send an e -mail to AGC, complete one of our online forms or questionnaires, or make a purchase on the Site. The types of personal information collected include, but may not be limited to, your name, your employer's name, e -mail and U.S. mail addresses, office and home telephone and fax numbers, credit card number and other information that you elect to provide. AGC also collects technical information such as your Internet Protocol ("IP") address and your domain name. AGC may share this data with AGC, Golf Enterprises, Inc., and their respective affiliates. AGC may also share information with:
• Service providers acting on AGC’s behalf to assist in operating this Site.
• Affiliated golf courses or clubs at your request.

Our Site is not intended for children under 13 and therefore we do not intend to collect personal information from children under the age of 13.  If you are 13 or older, but under the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which you live (typically 18), you must have your parent or legal guardian’s permission to use our Site, register or participate in any promotional offers.

How We Collect Information.
As mentioned above, when you visit this Site, the Site collects certain technical information such as your IP address and domain name. Through the forms you voluntarily complete and e-mails you send us, we also collect personal and company information as described above. If you choose to disclose your e-mail address through any request for information or other correspondence, we may use it to periodically send you information about our company or other topics of interest. If you would prefer not to receive such information, you can choose to opt-out of this service at any time by following the procedure described in the opt-out section below.

We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our Website. These companies may use information (not including your name, address email address or telephone number) about your visits to this and other Web sites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. Service providers acting on AGC’s behalf to assist in operating this Site may also set cookies on your computer in order to facilitate your use of the Site.

We may use third-party advertising companies to help us tailor site content to users or to serve ads on our behalf. These companies may employ cookies and web beacons to measure advertising effectiveness (such as which web pages are visited or what products are purchased and in what amount). Any information that these third parties collect via cookies and web beacons is not linked to any personal information collected by us.

How Your Information is Protected.
AGC takes steps that it believes to be reasonable and consistent with customary business practice to protect the information under our control from loss, misuse and alteration.

Opt-out Election.
To opt-out of receiving future communications from, or to request AGC not share your information with certain unaffiliated third parties, just send an e-mail to [email protected]. Please note that AGC may still share your information with its affiliates and with service providers.

Privacy Settings.
As our Site provides certain social networking capabilities, we provide you with the option of adjusting your privacy settings to limit what other friends or users may see about you.  If you want to limit or change the visibility of the information you provide to us in your profile and/or other areas of the Site, please visit the Privacy Settings section of our Site and adjust your settings.

Sale of AGC.
If AGC sells all or part of its business or makes a sale or transfer of assets or is otherwise involved in a merger or business transfer, AGC may transfer your personal information to a third party as part of that transaction.

Changes to Policy.
AGC reserves the right to change this Private Policy at any time to reflect changes in its business practices. If we elect to change our business practices in a way that materially impacts this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by posting a notice on the front page of this Site.

Deleting Personal Information of a Child.
If the parent or legal guardian of a child over the age of 13 wishes to terminate or cancel their child’s use of all or any portion of our Site or modify any selections the child may have made, the parent must notify us by contacting us at [email protected] and provide verifiable identification that they are the parent or legal guardian of the child before making any changes to or terminations of the child’s registration. We will not allow direct access to any personal information by any person without the appropriate identification. If a parent/legal guardian does not have his or her child’s User ID, the parent will be required to send an e-mail to [email protected] that includes the parent/legal guardian’s name, address, telephone and e-mail address, in addition to the child’s name and e-mail address as shown in our records. We will send a confirming e-mail to the parent/legal guardian via the e-mail address provided by the parent to verify that the parent/legal guardian wishes to terminate the child’s registration. The parent/legal guardian must confirm by sending a reply to the return address designated by us. We will then terminate the child’s registration and will notify the child by e-mail, identifying the name, address and contact information submitted by the parent/legal guardian who made the request.
Parents/legal guardians of children under the age of 13 have the right to immediately terminate or cancel their child’s use of our Site and the parent/legal guardian should notify us by contacting us at [email protected] and provide verifiable identification that they are the child’s parent/legal guardian. We will use the same verification and authentication procedures for the parent as described above, however, children under the age of 13 are not permitted to use our Site and their information must and shall be deleted once their age and parent/legal guardian are verified.

Your California Privacy Rights.

Residents of the State of California, under the California Civil Code, have the right to request from companies conducting business in California, a list of all third parties to which we have disclosed personal information during the preceding year for direct marketing purposes. Alternatively, the law provides that if we have a privacy policy that gives either an “opt-out” or “opt-in” choice for use of your personal information by third parties (such as advertisers or affiliated companies) for marketing purposes, we may instead provide you with information on how to exercise your disclosure choice options.

We qualify for the alternative option: we have a comprehensive Privacy Policy and provide you with details on how you may either decline to permit (“opt-out) or consent to (“opt-in”) the use of your personal information by third parties for direct marketing purposes. Therefore, we are not required to maintain or disclose a list of the third parties that received your personal information for marketing purposes during the preceding year.

All requests sent via postal mail must be labeled “Your California Privacy Rights” on the envelope or post card and clearly stated on the actual request. For all requests, please include your name, street address, city, state, and zip code. (Your street address is optional if you wish to receive a response to your request via email. We are not responsible for notices that are not labeled or sent properly, notices that are illegible or do not have complete information.
